Willmotts Transport: A managed print fleet for a leading South West logistics company

Willmotts Transport, part of Stotts Group, is one of the leading independent warehousing and distribution companies in the South West. It provides logistics for a wide range of companies and products, including many in the retail and food and drink industries, and brings over a century of experience to the work.

The challenge

Willmotts carried out a comprehensive review of its managed print services, and two issues stood out. Many of its devices had started to cause reliability issues, and the business was focused on eliminating any spending on printing that it did not need.

Willmotts also made clear that it was looking for a print provider it could have confidence in and work with for the long term.

What we did

After reviewing the market, Willmotts chose us as its new print partner.

We installed a fleet of Toshiba multifunction devices gradually, over a period agreed with Willmotts, with each stage timed to coincide with the removal of expiring hardware. Placeholder: number of devices and length of the rollout (Q23)

Alongside the new fleet, we recommended that Willmotts create new print policies.

The result

The new print policies have helped Willmotts eliminate unwanted waste, and there has been a significant 40% reduction in print expenditure since working with Enhanced.

Willmotts has also noticed improved service response times.

Sustainability is a key focus for Willmotts and for us. Every multifunction device in the fleet was carbon neutral on delivery through Toshiba’s Carbon Zero Scheme, which calculates and offsets the total footprint of each device from manufacturing, parts and transportation.
